The Why.

Wildflower After Winter was created for women who have lived enough life to know that growth doesn’t always look graceful. Some seasons are beautiful. Some are messy. Some feel like winter lasts far too long.

This is a place for encouragement, honest stories, faith without pressure, humor, connection, and the reminder that something beautiful can still grow here.

Maybe winter wasn’t the end of the story.

The Garden.

Wildflower After Winter is a community for women in all kinds of seasons. Some are blooming. Some are rebuilding. Some are resting. Some are just trying to make it through the week without losing their minds.

There is room here for faith, questions, encouragement, laughter, hard stories, fresh starts, and the kind of honesty that doesn’t require pretending everything is fine.

No perfect flowers required. No admission fee. Just come as you are and find your place in the garden.

The Me.

I’m Karen - wife, mom, longtime medical professional, unapologetic Gen Xer, woman of faith, and someone who has spent a lot of years taking care of everybody else.

I know what it feels like to keep showing up when life is beautiful, exhausting, funny, painful, messy, or all five before lunch. I’ve learned that strength doesn’t always look like having everything together. Sometimes it looks like accepting help. Sometimes it looks like starting over. And sometimes it looks like realizing you’re still here - and maybe you’re not done growing yet.

I didn’t create Wildflower After Winter because I have all the answers. I created it because I believe women need places where they can be honest, laugh, ask questions, share what they have learned, explore their faith, and remind one another that there can still be beauty on the other side of a hard season.

I just opened the gate. The garden belongs to all of us.
